Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex Phase II Grand Opening

 

 

 

GOODYEAR, ARIZ. (Oct. 1, 2009) Join us for the long-awaited grand opening of the Cincinnati Reds Practice Fields at Goodyear Ballpark and Recreational Complex from 6-9:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17. Free admission and parking.

 

There will be an evening of fun for the entire family with booths, bouncers, games, food vendors, and a raffle for tickets to a Spring Training game. Participate in baseball activities such as fielding, batting and running bases with Reds coaches and players. Bobby Freeman will perform baseball's classic tunes.

 

Bring your blankets and pillows so you can settle in after dark on the new turf to enjoy a family-favorite baseball movie (title to be announced) Monsters vs. Aliens, the new animated feature film from DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures, featuring the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Kiefer Sutherland, Stephen Colbert and Paul Rudd.

 

When not in use by the team during Spring Training, the four fields on this cloverleaf will be used by the City of Goodyear and its residents.
