Cool off at Goodyear Community Pool

Low and no cost swim options for the whole family


 Goodyear, Ariz. (June 5, 2017) – The Goodyear Community Pool, 430 E. Loma Linda Blvd., offers a variety of low and no cost swimming opportunities this summer for everyone in the family. 

Family Night
Friday nights in June and July are family nights at the pool. From 5 – 8:30 p.m., there are games, music and a variety of family fun. The cost per person is $1.50. Children three and under are free. Family nights take place June 9, 16, and 30 as well as on July 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Teen Night
Teens ages 13 through 17 can enjoy a free night at the pool from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 and Saturday, July 29. Each event will include music, games, food and lots of fun.

Open Swim
The Goodyear Community Pool is available for everyone for open swim for a cost of $1.50 per day per person and children three and under are free. The pool is open on weekdays through July 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. and on weekends through Sep. 4 from 1 to 6 p.m. Open Swim will not be held on Thursday, June 22 due to a special event.

Free Day
The Litchfield Park Kiwanis Club is sponsoring a free day of swimming on Saturday, July 8 from 1 – 6 p.m. 

The city of Goodyear aquatics division provides swim lessons, coordinates swim/dive teams and offers open swim to promote a healthy, active lifestyle. For more information, call 623-882-7525 or visit


  • All swimmers must wear a bathing suit. No clothing will be allowed in the pool.
  • Life jackets are the only flotation devices allowed and they must be Coast Guard approved.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
