Goodyear, Ariz. (Oct. 2, 2018) – We’re all used to turning on the faucet, and voila!, clean, refreshing water comes out of the nozzle.
But there’s a lot more that goes into providing, and conserving this precious resource.
The city of Goodyear is continuing to offer its free water conservation classes on Tuesdays this fall, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Public Works Administration Building, 4980 S. 157th Avenue.
- Set Your Water Timer – Oct. 9. Learn how to set it correctly and change it seasonally for particular plants and soil type.
- Get To Know Your Water Meter – Oct. 23. High water bill? Learn how meters work and how they can be used to troubleshoot problems.
- Water 101, Drinking Water – Nov. 13. Learn what it takes to deliver a gallon of water to your home.
