Drivers on southbound Loop 303 (Bob Stump Memorial Parkway) should plan for overnight restrictions at Interstate 10 (Papago Freeway) near Goodyear. The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to install a new overhead dynamic message sign on Loop 303 approaching I-10.

The following closures are scheduled to be in place from 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, to 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26:

• The connecting ramps from east- and westbound I-10 to southbound Loop 303 will be closed. Detours: From eastbound I-10, drivers can exit at Citrus Road and use the eastbound I-10 frontage road to the southbound Loop 303 frontage road to access southbound Cotton Lane near Van Buren Street. From westbound I-10, drivers can exit at Sarival Avenue and use the westbound I-10 frontage road to the southbound Loop 303 frontage road to access southbound Cotton Lane near Van Buren Street.
• Southbound Loop 303 will be closed at I-10. Detour: To continue on southbound Loop 303, drivers can exit at Thomas Road, travel west to Cotton Lane and use southbound Cotton Lane for approximately 2 miles to Van Buren Street to merge back onto Loop 303.

Dynamic message signs are important to maintaining safe and efficient travel conditions. These large signs are installed above or near the highway to display travel times, safety messages and other important information for motorists.
