Name the New Goodyear Ballpark Mascot

Just in time for spring training, Goodyear Ballpark has a new mascot and it needs a name! Submit your name ideas through Goodyear Ballpark’s social media channels - Facebook, Instagram or Twitter - through March 2. The top names will be voted on via social media, and the name will be revealed March 17, during the ballpark’s 10 year celebration. The new, colorful mascot was introduced on Opening Day, February 23, which also marked the Indians 10th anniversary and the Reds 10th season of spring training in Goodyear. Check out the new mascot in person at the next game. Games are every day through March 24.

Goodyear Ballpark is the spring training home to Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds. Built in 2008, the $108 million development includes Goodyear Ballpark, the Indians Development Complex, and the Reds Development Complex co-located on a 103-acre parcel south of Yuma Road and east of Estrella Parkway. In addition to hosting Cactus League Spring Training action, Goodyear Ballpark is home to many of the city’s festivals and special events the other 10 months of the year including sports programs; movie nights; concerts; and even high school graduations.
