If your detector(s) is chirping, you should try replacing the batteries. If it continues to chirp, try vacuuming each device as dirt will also set them off.
Your smoke alarm should last about 8 - 10 years, after which time they should be replaced. Like most electrical devices, smoke alarms wear out. Smoke alarms are easy to take care of - simply replace batteries at least once a year and keep them clean by vacuuming over and around your smoke alarm regularly.

A waiver must be completed and your age verified before a ride-along will be scheduled. Please visit Fire Administration at 175 N. 145th Avenue in Goodyear during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) to complete the required paperwork. Proper ID will be required.
