Youth Firesetter Program
Curiosity firesetting is a very common problem with potentially disastrous results. One of the goals of the Youth Firesetter Program is to help children realize they are not alone. This program is designed to help parents and other caregivers, as well as schools, intervene when a child or adolescent has been setting fires. This program helps assess and educate different levels of firesetting, from curiosity to crisis to pathological.
This program also includes education in fire and life safety, parenting tips, and, if necessary, information on where to go for further assistance. Please contact the Community Education Coordinator at 623-882-7308 or send an email for more information.
