Water Source - by artist Martha Thoma Hall
Location - Adjacent to Roscoe Park on the corner of Estrella Parkway and Roeser Rd.
This whimsical permanent installation by Marta Thoma Hall is adjacent to Roscoe Park on the corner of Estrella Parkway and Roeser Rd. Water, the source and importance, provided inspiration for this large-scale curvilinear sculpture by California artist Marta Thoma. “Rivers” of colored glass bottles echo the nearby Gila River in this environmental work. The bottles, leftover remnants of mass production, become shimmering gems in the sunlight. The sculpture is lit with solar-powered LED lights.
