ACTIVITY LEVEL RATINGS 

Transportation may require negotiating two to eight steps getting in and out of a vehicle. Individuals unable to manage the above will be required to arrange for assistance (on their own) prior to trip departure.

GREEN - Activity requires minimal physical exertion & is appropriate for most individuals. Participants can expect leisurely walking on mostly flat surfaces, minimal standing/waiting, and few stairs. 

YELLOW - Activity requires moderate physical exertion & is somewhat physically demanding. Participants can expect any or all of the following: significant walking, standing, stairs, and uneven surfaces. 

RED - Activity requires significant physical exertion & is very demanding. These trips are designed for individuals who lead very active lives and are comfortable participating in up to 5 hours of physical activity per day. Trip activities will have a high level of intensity and may include exposure to high altitudes, narrow/enclosed areas which may be difficult for persons with mobility or claustrophobic concerns.

TRIP POLICIES

  • Transportation used for outings typically requires you to negotiate 2-8 stairs getting in and out of a vehicle. People unable to use stairs independently are responsible to make arrangements for personal assistance.
  • Transportation is subject to change.
  • All trips require a minimum number of registrations.  Please adhere to the deadlines as trips will be cancelled if the minimum is not reached.
  • Registration for trips is done on a first-come/first-serve basis.  Payment is due at time of registration.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure times.
  • For events where a ticket has been purchased or space booked from an outside agency (theater, travel/bus co., etc) we cannot issue a refund due to a cancellation after registration deadline.
  • Trips/activities cancelled by the city will result in a credit to your account or a refund will be mailed to you in approximately 3-4 weeks.
  • No credits will be given for cancellations on casino trips; no credit toward future trips.  

Temple Garden Christmas Lights, Mesa

The annual Holiday Lights shine at LDS Temple. The event features hundreds of thousands of colorful lights, a large nativity display, concerts, and holiday dioramas that blanket the garden area. The concert series begins at 7:00pm and features a free half-hour concert with seating available. the Food Truck Forest across the street will be open for food and beverage. Price includes Motor coach transportation. Meals not included.

A Christmas Carol Musical Matinee at the Hale Theater, Gilbert

A Hale Holiday Classic! The spectacular, heart-warming version of Dickens' classic tale of redemption is magically brought to life on the Hale Stage. This production is rich with traditional carols, stunning costumes, and memorable characters that are guaranteed to enrich the holiday season for you. Cave Creek Indian Market Festival, Cave Creek

The annual Cave Creek Indian Market celebrates the colorful history and rich heritage of the Southwest with a diverse gathering of Native American and Southwestern fine artists and craftsmen. The festival takes place in Stagecoach Village which is nestled in the scenic foothills surrounding Cave Creek and provides an environment reminiscent of the Southwest frontier that creates magic for every visitor. Each year, about 10,000 festival goers attend the market to shop from and interact with over 80 artists. The market also features an astounding lineup of Native American musicians with past performances by Arvel Bird, acclaimed violinist and Native flutist who performs Celtic fusion; Tony Duncan, a World Champion Hoop Dancer; and Estun-Bah, an Apache drum, flute and guitar trio. There will be several restaurants and food tents available.  Price includes Motor Coach transportation.  Meals not included

Los Cedros Arabian horse training Facility Tour, Scottsdale

We will take a guided tour of this fabulous facility that trains horses for the Arabian horse show held in Scottsdale.  Los Cedros USA is committed to be one of the finest horse training facilities in the world. Trainers working at Los Cedros are several cuts above the rest, with specialists in Arabian horses, and Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, and Western styles.  The tour will include the Throne room, horse exercise pool, barn, breeding lab, grooming area and lots of petting. Los Cedros has it all. Price includes Motor Coach transportation and admission. Meals not included.
