Emergency Plans

The purpose of the Goodyear Emergency Operation Plan is to establish policies and blueprints to institutionalize existing and new programs, processes and procedures to continuously reduce disaster losses and sustain this effort in future years. For more information on national, state and county plans, please visit the following sites:

The Goodyear Emergency Management team participates in the state’s Top Official (TOPOFF) exercise every two years.  Goodyear officials and staff as well as local volunteers perform critical duties in the Goodyear Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during this “mock” disaster drill.  Afterwards the Emergency Management team debriefs to determine the success and issues involved in the mock disaster.
