Goodyear Police Department & Goodyear PD Volunteers partnered up with Cancer Treatment Center of America to complete a VIN Etching Event for their employees. VIN Etching puts the Vehicle Identification Number on each window of the car. This program is a great crime prevention tool against auto theft. Goodyear Police Department Patrol Division - Officers and Dispatchers - worked together to apprehend an Armed Robbery Suspect
GOODYEAR, Ariz. –On Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at approx. 2:17 pm a white male suspect, who appears to be in his 30s, allegedly robbed the US Bank inside the Fry’s Marketplace at 16380 W. Yuma in Goodyear. Goodyear police have apprehended the suspect and taken him into custody. The bank teller placed a tracking device in the ...money bag and police were able to locate the vehicle and apprehended the suspect at 111th Ave. and Durango in Avondale.

May 18th, Goodyear Police Department in conjunction with Goodyear Fire Department and other City Departments will be participating in a "Pool Drill" at the City Community Pool on Loma Linda. It should be a great turn out and we will all be providing valuable information!!
