This Fourth of July, Goodyear is reimagining its annual celebration of freedom with an all-new experience. The city’s Star Spangled Fourth event will take place Friday, July 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Goodyear Ballpark, and for the first time ever, feature a stunning patriotic drone show.
Highlights include live music, food trucks and family activities including bounce houses and inflatable water slides, all leading up to the main event: a dynamic drone show that will light up the ballpark in a patriotic display of color, motion and music.
This year’s celebration will replace traditional fireworks with a high-tech drone display starting at 8:45 p.m. The show is only visible from inside the ballpark, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good view. Admission, activities and parking are free, making this a celebration for the whole community to enjoy.
Know Before You Go:
- No fireworks – the drone show will only be viewable from inside the ballpark
- No tailgating allowed in the parking lots
- Trolleys will be available to shuttle attendees between nearby designated parking lots and the ballpark
- Come early – gates open at 6 p.m. and capacity is limited
