The Buffalo Spot, known for its buffalo fries, opens in Goodyear
A new restaurant concept known for its buffalo fries is blazing its way through the southwest U.S. – and Goodyear happens to be its newest franchise location.
Founded in 2013, The Buffalo Spot now has 30 locations across Arizona, California and Texas. Its Goodyear restaurant, at 14130 W Indian School Rd., opened for business Tuesday.
“Our buffalo fries are 60 to 70 percent of our sales,” said Kevin Burke, owner of The Buffalo Spot’s Goodyear location. “They’re very, very delicious. We get comments all the time.”
The Buffalo Spot just added a new twist on its most popular item: Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Crunchy Buffalo Fries is now on its menu. Other offerings include traditional and boneless buffalo wings, the Buffalo Cali Burrito, and a number of salads and wraps.
Burke also highly recommends sampling one of The Buffalo Spot’s milkshakes. The strawberry shake is Burke’s favorite.
“All the chicken is hand-cut, hand-breaded, never frozen. We have great salads that you can turn into wraps,” he said. “It’s kind of a basic menu but a great tasting menu.”
