A New Leaf

Current hours of operation: 24 hours

Services: Domestic violence Shelter for women and children

Accessing resources: Call the domestic violence hotline 480-890-3039 or 1-844-safedvs

How others can help/pressing needs:

  • Bacterial soap
  • Pillows
  • Frozen meals for 30 people
  • Home cooked meals pick up is available

Adelante Healthcare WIC

Current hours of operation: Hours vary at the different locations. Call 1-877-809-5092, visit, or text WIC to 31996 for hours and locations.

Services: Adelante WIC sites are open until further notice. They are taking some appointments over the phone, issuing benefits remotely, and are following direction from ADHS at its different sites.

Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank

Current hours of operation: Avondale location: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Tonopah location: Mondays only, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

All Faith Community Services Food Bank

Current hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  

Services: Open to all Buckeye or Goodyear residents with the following services:

  • Weekly Emergency Food & Baby Boxes
  • Clothing Referrals
  • Showers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 – 4 p.m.
  • Mobile Food Pantry at Skyway Church of the West Valley on March 28 from 8 – 10 a.m. (drive-thru distribution)

Arizona COVID-19 Community Response Fund

Services: The Arizona COVID-19 Community Response Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations in Arizona working with communities who are impacted by COVID-19.

One hundred percent of contributions to this fund will be distributed to nonprofit organizations swiftly as needs arise. Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) has intentionally established this fund with flexibility in mind to ensure that these resources may support communities as conditions, circumstances, and needs change throughout this crisis.


Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church

Current hours of operation: 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Services: Outreach Food Bank is open on Tuesday mornings

Accessing resources: Drive up between 8 – 9 a.m. to drop off your box. At 11 a.m., you drive back up to get your filled box. Emergency food boxes will be filled as needed, only on Tuesdays.

Home Instead Senior Care

Current hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m – 5 p.m.  


  • Offering work for those who may be suddenly without work, even short term or temporary assignments.
  • Care to our most vulnerable population, who may now be homebound to prevent exposure.Our caregivers can run errands, prepare meals, and supportive services to help keep them safe.

Preventative measures are in place: Home Instead Senior Care is following CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of the virus. Home Instead CAREGivers also receive specific training on reducing the risk of illness and continue to revisit and reemphasize with our professional CAREGiver team. “Caring for seniors in our community is what we do, and we continue to be committed to working with our partners who share the same important mission.”


Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest

Services: Utility assistance may be available by email. Individuals will be required to scan or fax documentation.

Mountain Park Health Center

Current hours of operation: Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.


  • Drive-thru prayer tents on Sundays from 9 – 10 a.m. and 10 – 11 a.m.
  • Live streaming services at
  • Counseling on campus provided by Skyway or Victorious Christian Living
  • Food box distribution on every 4th Saturday from 8 – 10 a.m.
