Goodyear Partners with Local Artists to Develop Virtual Arts
During this unprecedented time, the city of Goodyear is finding new ways to connect residents to arts and culture. With the cancellation of city events and CDC guidelines encouraging Americans to stay home, Goodyear is developing virtual opportunities for residents to feel connected, enjoy the arts, and provide an outlet from these uncertain times.
In partnership with Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, Goodyear will be sharing links to live streaming concerts on its social media channels starting Monday, March 23. Each show will begin at 1 p.m. on facebook.com/acsolidrock. The schedule for the first week is outlined below.
- March 23: Phoebe Marlowe
- March 24: Rylee Paige
- March 25: Janae Dunn
- March 26: Sunkissed
- March 27: Summer

“Art has a way of generating optimism and happiness,” said Guylene Ozlanski, Goodyear Arts and Culture Administrator. “Especially music, it touches people emotionally and during this difficult time, we hope families will enjoy this new way to connect with the outside world and experience arts at home.”
Other virtual arts and culture opportunities will be announced in the coming weeks on the city’s social media channels, including online dance, bass and guitar lessons from local artists.
