Amazon Announces Additional Facility in Goodyear, Arizona, Creating Over 500 Jobs

Amazon and the city of Goodyear are excited to announce a future Amazon location near Loop 303, S of the SWC of Cotton Lane and Camelback Road in Goodyear, Arizona, with plans to bring an additional 500 jobs to the region.

The new state-of-the-art facility reinforces Amazon’s commitment to the economic growth of Arizona, leveraging the area’s rich talent pool and Goodyear’s business friendly environment. Employees at Amazon enjoy competitive pay and a benefits package that starts on day one including family leave, mental health support, 40 different upskilling opportunities, and pre-paid college tuition.

Strategically located in close proximity to Phoenix and other key markets in the West Valley, this facility will significantly enhance service speed and efficiency for Amazon customers across the Southwest.

Amazon recently released its Small Business Empowerment Report.   More than 60% of sales in Amazon’s store are from independent sellers – most of which are small or medium-sized businesses.  In Arizona, there are more than 10,000 independent sellers—most of which are small and medium-sized businesses—selling in Amazon's store.
