The results are in! Residents recently provided their feedback in a community survey done by the National Research Center at Polco. It included a range of questions about what residents like about Goodyear and what they think of city programs and services. The results play a big role in the city’s future and are used to determine areas to focus on and invest in.

“I appreciate everyone who took the time to fill out our community survey,” said Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo. “Hearing directly from our residents is incredibly valuable—it helps us understand what’s working well and where we need to improve. Your feedback gives us a clear direction moving forward, and I’m grateful for your honesty and engagement. Together, we’re making our city an even better place to live.”

Here’s what residents said about living in Goodyear:

• 9 out of 10 recommend living in Goodyear
• 95% say they feel safe in their neighborhood
• 87% say Goodyear is an excellent or good place to raise kids
• 87% rate the quality of life in Goodyear as excellent or good
• 84% rate the city’s recreation center and facilities as excellent or good
• 83% rate the overall quality of city services as excellent or good

Where residents say Goodyear can improve:

• Air quality
• Preservation of historical or cultural character of the community
• Well-planned residential and commercial growth
• Transportation including traffic flow and public transportation
