City of Goodyear Hosts Veterans Day Tribute Festival to Honor Local Heroes – Tuesday, Nov. 11 

The city of Goodyear invites the Valley to come together for a heartfelt evening honoring our local heroes. The Veterans Day Tribute Festival is a time to reflect, celebrate and show appreciation for the men and women who have served our country.

This year’s event features live music from Fighter Country, patriotic mural displays, arts and crafts, a tribute flag garden and a variety of food trucks. New this year – Banners of the Brave – custom light pole banners proudly showcasing local veterans throughout Civic Square Park.

There are several ways for the community to honor our veterans before the festival:

• Flag Garden: Write a message of gratitude to our veterans or a special veteran in your life. Flags will be “planted” outside Goodyear City Hall and displayed during the event. Flags can be picked up at city hall Nov. 3–7, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
• Live Mural Painting: Stop by Civic Square Park during the week of Nov. 3 to see local artists bring patriotic murals to life. The finished murals will be on display at the festival.
• Yard Signs: Show your support at home! Veterans Day yard signs are available for pickup at city hall Nov. 3–7, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
