City of Goodyear Vice Mayor Wally Campbell has been appointed Vice Chair to the National League of Cities (NLC) 2026 First Tier Suburbs Council. Vice Mayor Campbell will serve a one-year term to develop and guide programs among local elected officials from communities similar to Goodyear.
 
“I’m honored to represent the city of Goodyear once again at the national level,” said Vice Mayor Wally Campbell. “I will work alongside a diverse group of local leaders to share ideas, build connections and help develop resources and programs that benefit communities like ours - communities with similar size, demographics and locations that can be replicated across the country.” 
 
Vice Mayor Campbell has served on multiple NLC councils and committees over the years. Most recently, she served as a member of NLC’s First Tier Suburbs Council, Military Communities Council and Transportation and Infrastructure Services Committee.
