This Directory is to serve as a summary of the current applicable ordinances, code and substantive policy statements for those Licenses, Permits, Certificates or other Similar Forms of Permission required by law as it relates to a "Directory of Documents" required by A.R.S. 9-837 (established by SB 1598), also known as the Regulatory Bill of Rights. This list is meant to be as broad as possible and may include areas outside regulations specifically dictated by the Legislation. Documents not available online are available as a hard copy for public inspection only at the Goodyear City Clerk's Office, located at 1900 N. Civic Square, Goodyear, AZ 85395.

City of Goodyear (COG) Code of Ordinances
This is the main body of adopted laws/ordinances of the City, including the Subdivision Regulations, and is available on the web at the Code Publishing Inc. website. The Code adopts nationally recognized building codes by reference and contains amendments to the adopted building codes that are specific to the city of Goodyear.

International Building and Fire Code
Sections 1215 through 1229 of Appendix Chapter 12 of the 1997 Uniform Building Code and Exhibits and Appendix Thereto Providing for Sound Transmission Control Near Luke Air Force Base (Section 9-1-1 in Goodyear Code of Ordinances; Res. No. 15-1697)
(E) Effective July 1, 2007, there is herewith adopted, in total, by reference thereto, "Sections 1215 through 1229 of Appendix Chapter 12 of the 1997 Uniform Building Code and Exhibits and Appendix Thereto Providing for Sound Transmission Control Near Luke Air Force Base" sponsored by the Maricopa Association of Governments and adopted as a public record by Resolution No. 15-1697 of the Mayor and Council of the City of Goodyear, as fully and completely as if set forth in full herein.
