Water Planning Committee

Approximately a dozen Goodyear residents, land owners, and representatives have volunteered a year of their time to discuss the city’s future water operations and rates. In May 2014, the city began accepting applications for members and on Oct. 6, the City Council swore in the selected candidates.

Who: City water customers (mainly south of Interstate 10). Most residents living north of I-10 receive their water from a private company and will not be affected by the committee’s recommendations.

What: Meetings took place October 2014 through May 2015 and were open to the public. At the June 15, 2015 Council work session, the committee presented its Recommendations Report. Click here to view recorded meetings.
