Make A Difference Day is a nationwide effort dedicated to helping others, when millions of people join together on the fourth Saturday of every October and take action to help change the world.

In Goodyear, volunteers helped with 8 projects on Make a Difference Day on Saturday, October 26, 2013

  • Painting the homes of two Goodyear senior residents
  • Giving the fence of Goodyear Community Park’s Skate Park a fresh coat of paint
  • Painting the Bullard Wash Park fence north and south of Monte Vista
  • Painting nearly 75 fire hydrants in Estrella
  • Distributing door hangers with information on local social service agencies to over 400 homes in Historic Goodyear.
