In an effort to enhance Goodyear's emergency preparedness, the City has created evacuation zones.  Using pre-determined evacuation zones in emergency management helps: 

• Target the evacuation of the most vulnerable areas

• Pre-plan emergency messaging and instructions to the community 

• Leverage data during emergency response 

• Plan transportation needs
