The Tree and Bench Recognition Program offers a meaningful way for individuals, families, and organizations to honor loved ones, commemorate special occasions, or recognize achievements while contributing to the beauty and sustainability of public spaces.

Through this program, participants can sponsor the installation of a park bench or the planting of a tree. Each dedication includes the option of a personalized plaque, allowing for a heartfelt message that creates a lasting tribute for generations to come. Whether celebrating a milestone, remembering a loved one, or expressing appreciation, these dedications serve as enduring symbols of recognition and remembrance.

Trees
You will collaborate with city staff to determine a suitable location that considers community needs. Staff will also assist you in selecting the appropriate tree species and trees will be planted in the Spring through Fall.

Total Cost: $400-$600

Includes:
• Tree
• Recognition Plaque (approx. 6”x8”)
• Site Preparation
• Tree Planting
• Ongoing Maintenance (life of the tree)

Benches
You will collaborate with city staff to determine a suitable location that considers community needs. Staff will also assist you in selecting the appropriate style and color.

Total Cost: $3,000-$5,000

Includes:
• Bench
• Recognition Plaque (approx. 2”x10”)
• Site Preparation
• Bench Installation
• Ongoing Maintenance
