The City of Goodyear’s Pavement Cut Ordinance (Ordinance No. 2024‑1624) establishes rules and repair requirements for anyone who damages a public street, including utility companies, contractors, developers, and individual property owners making pavement cuts. 

The ordinance ensures that new and existing streets are restored as close as practicable to their original condition, protecting long‑term pavement quality and reducing future maintenance costs.
