The Goodyear Police Department’s policies are reviewed on a regular basis, and changes are made as needed to adhere to best practices.
The Goodyear Police Department has deployed license plate readers throughout the city. License plates are queried by officers when used in commission of a crime or when the vehicle is reported stolen. The department uses the cameras to locate and identify vehicles that have been used in crimes.
