About Solid Waste
The City of Goodyear’s Solid Waste Division provides weekly trash and recycling collection, monthly bulk trash pickup, and community education on proper waste disposal. The division also manages container services, offers guidance on hazardous waste disposal, and oversees contractor performance to ensure reliable service for all residents.

Service Area Information

Residents must sign up for services using the City of Goodyear Utility Service Application.

Residents South of I‑10 (Zip Code 85338)
• Water, Sewer, and Sanitation provided by the City of Goodyear

Residents North of I‑10 (Zip Codes 85395 / 85340)
• Sanitation provided by the City of Goodyear
• Water and Sewer: Use the Water and Sewer Service Area Lookup to identify your provider

Canada Village & Sedella (Zip Code 85395)
• Sewer and Sanitation provided by the City of Goodyear
• Water: Use the Service Area Lookup

Sanitation service is required for all single‑family homes, regardless of occupancy.


 


Goodyear partners with Waste Connections of Arizona to provide same-day collection service for residential trash and recycle containers. Both containers are serviced once a week, on the same day. Bulk trash collection is once a month.

Container Placement Guidelines

Please place containers:
• No earlier than 6 PM the day before pickup
• No later than 6 AM on pickup day
• On the street with wheels against the curb, not on the sidewalk
• At least 3 feet apart and 5 feet from obstacles (vehicles, mailboxes, etc.)

Please remove containers by 6 AM the day after pickup
